Andrew started the forum topic Servicing forks in the group
Equipment Group: 1 year agoHow much would I be looking at if I was to get my forks serviced? I believe they’re 2006? Marzocchi dirt jumper 3′s (air/oil/coil).
And next question would be, where would you recommend getting them done?

Equipment Group: 1 year, 5 months agoCheers Sean, will take your word for it. Was just being a bit cautious that’s all with regards to the bash ring.
That superstar one you linked looks just great for what I was after, and price is decent. Will take the plunge and order it and see how I get on!! -

Equipment Group: 1 year, 5 months agoSo basically I’d need this: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=11453
And whatever ISCG 05 chain guide I fancy? Would it not require a longer BB then or should it be fine?e: Or even just this to hold the chain in place, which would replace my supercharger bashring?

Andrew posted on the forum topic Front Derailleur / CR question in the group
Equipment Group: 1 year, 5 months agoGuess I’d need a mount to use the ISCG stuff. Riding a specialized hardrock sport (05/06 or something). Do quite a bit of forest riding/DH stuff on it so takes quite a lot of hit as it is, so ideally would like to keep a bash ring. Currently I’m just running the 32t, got the [...]

Equipment Group: 1 year, 5 months agoAfter taking her out for a ride yesterday and doing some light jumps on the local pump track the chain keeps coming off. I knew I’d need a chain guide at some point but I have no idea what to get. I’d like something similar to this: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=50530 But I’ve got: Square taper BB This [...]

Equipment Group: 1 year, 5 months agoBit of an update, thought I’d give it a try. Had a quick look in the ‘Zinn and the art…’ book I recently purchased the started stripping things down. Had to change my rear brake leaver to an old one from a different bike as the gears/brake on the left was all in one! Slight [...]

Andrew started the forum topic Front Derailleur / CR question in the group
Equipment Group: 1 year, 5 months agoI’m looking to run just the 32 chainring and bash guard on my bike. Is it a simple case of remove the front derailleur from the seat tube , the shifter/cables and removing the 22 CR? Just trying to find out how to remove the 22 CR now, which I’m guessing is by removing the [...]

Equipment Group: 1 year, 6 months agoJust read a couple of reviews on that book now and looks great. Ordered myself a copy so will be having a good look at that when it arrives!!
