Welcome to MTB-Wales.com
After a wonderful descent down to the Penygarreg reservoir in the Elan Vally, the down side was the climb back up. But at least the views were great as MTB-Wales.com member Richard (richie) Wyson stopped to take this picture of his mate Hadyn Stokes struggling up.
If you have a MTB related picture that you think would look good on the front page then email it to AndrewJ at MTB-Wales.com. Please include details of riders, MTB-Wales login name and the location of the picture. An archive of front page pictures can be found here.
Looking for somewhere to ride? Then why not use MTB-Wales.com for some route inspiration. If you prefer man-made trails we've got loads of information on the Welsh MTB Centres but if natural trails are your thing we've got a collection of mtb route articles here on MTB-Wales.com. If you're looking to get route information en-masse why not check out our on-line shop. It's stuffed full of route books and maps.

As you are probably aware, Matt competes in endurance races, with distances from 60 kilometres right the way to solo 24 hours. Only four days to go and 5 long standing members of mtb-wales will be cycling the length of Wales for charity. The plan is to ride from 226 miles from Cemaes in Anglesey to Cardiff bay…in one day.
Training has been going very well with four of the group completing the 180km Dragon Ride a few weekends ago. Though the Dragon Ride is tough the charity ride is set to be far tougher as it’s twice as far with twice as much climbing.
The riders will be leaving Cemaes at 06:00 on Saturday 26th of April and hope to arrive in Cardiff Bay any time after 18:00. Should you wish to come and join the team for a few well earned drinks after the ride please feel free.
They are riding for two charities, the Wales Air Ambulance and Ty Hafan Children’s Hospice and have raised over £2300 so far but would like your help to raise more.
All money raised will go to the charities above as all accommodation, transport, food and support are being paid for by the riders and support team.
Please visit the ride website for more details:-

It's gonna be big. It'll be a fun weekend, and you'll get to demo the bikes you see in magazine tests, on one of the testers' favourite loops.

Gary Fisher, the man, the myth, the Legend has always been involved in cycle racing and cycling in general. Although absent from our shores for a while, in racing terms at least, Gary has kept alight the passion for riding in the UK and with the increasing popularity of the 29er and HiFi bikes, now connected by the common use of G2 technology, has decided to celebrate with the introduction of the G2 Revolver endurance race series.
